I guess I really do not understand her. She is having such a bad time now, yet I cannot do anything to help her. I thought she will tell me her troubles, her problems but she did not. I really do not know what else can I do, I guess I’m not that good that I thought I was after all.
I always thought that she will reveal her problems, but now I realised that she always keep things to herself. I guess I know more than what she’s willing to tell me.
At this moment I am not able to do much, I did not even give enough Moral Support; I have really failed her. I have been lectured and I know I can do so much better, but what can else I do to help her. I have been troubled too, but I did not show it out, I’m a crybaby at heart and I’m acting strong on the outside.
I cannot let her know that I’m helpless too. I must continue to mask my emotions and be strong and let her believe in our love. I believe this is the best way now.
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard insists he has no regrets about his spat with Cesc Fabregas as a mass brawl in stoppage time shamed a thrilling Carling Cup final on Sunday.
Lampard, stand-in captain after John Terry had been carried off with a head injury, received a yellow card for his altercation with the Arsenal midfielder.
The ensuing unsavoury brawl, which saw both managers run on to the Millennium Stadium pitch in order to try to calm the situation, was sparked by Mikel Jon Obi's challenge on Arsenal captain Kolo Toure.
The Arsenal player reacted violently to Mikel's tackle even though referee Howard Webb had awarded a free-kick to the Gunners.
But as they squared up to each other, the fighting spilled over onto other areas of the pitch, with Lampard and Fabregas involved in an ugly confrontation.
Once the situation had been brought under control, Webb red-carded both Toure and Mikel as well as Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Adebayor was harshly adjudged to have been dismissed when substitute Emmanuel Eboue was clearly seen to strike Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge.
But the Togo striker's refusal to leave the playing area when ordered to do so by Webb might yet see the striker face further punishment from the Football Association, who are also likely to consider charging both clubs with failing to control their players.
But Lampard insists that he only did what he felt was right in order to help out his team-mates.
He declared: 'People talked about the Carling Cup a few years ago and criticised the fact that teams don't want to win it. But this was a game both teams wanted to win.
'However much you want to criticise what happened and say it should not happen, and this and that, we should all be happy it was a great battle.
'You back your team-mates up, it is as simple as that. Then, it escalated from there. I get disappointed when red cards get brandished but, as I say, you back your team-mates up and it escalates.
'I wish it hadn't got that far. But when you are in the heat of the moment, it does go that far.
'So, it happened. I was surprised to see the manager on the pitch but he was quick though, wasn't he?
'You back your team up and I suppose the managers back their players.
'It was a moment when you have to show restraint and I think I showed enough restraint not to get a red card.'
VIDEO EVIDENCE
The FA will almost certainly view video evidence of the brawl but may feel that the quick intervention of the managers was sufficient to prevent any further punishment.
However, they still have to deal with Adebayor's situation and may decide to rescind his red card and charge team-mate Eboue instead.
Eboue lashed out at Bridge and sent the England defender sprawling - an action which went completely unnoticed by Webb and his assistants.
Bridge is adamant Webb got the wrong man and says he can fully understand Adebayor's frustration at being red-carded.
The Chelsea full-back said: 'The referee sent the wrong man off. I can understand his (Adebayor) frustration at getting sent off.
'There must have been a mix-up between the ref and his linesman.' - PA Sport.
FIRST, there was a Captain Marvel. Now there's an Iron Man.
At the peak of his powers, Manchester United skipper Bryan Robson used to inspire his charges with his supercharged, superhuman performances from the heart of midfield.
Now meet Chelsea's own superhero - captain John Terry.
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech insists captain Terry should be named 'Iron Man of the Year' after he shook off the effects of a shocking head injury to help his team-mates celebrate their second Carling Cup win in three years.
Terry was left unconscious after his head was smashed by Abou Diaby's boot in the second half of Chelsea's 2-1 win on Sunday.
Replays showed the full-force of the impact also snapped his head backwards, and he collapsed unconscious.
THE HORROR
Team-mate Frank Lampard later revealed the horror of the injury when he said: 'He (Terry) looked very bad. He was out cold but his eyes were flickering a little bit.'
Chelsea's medical staff along with Arsenal and England physio Gary Lewin spent a full five minutes helping Terry to come round.
He was last seen on TV being stretchered out of the stadium, with a neck brace, and twitching.
The fact that the England defender had won his battle to be fit for Sunday's clash in Cardiff was itself nothing short of miraculous.
Barely four days earlier, Terry suffered ankle ligament damage during Chelsea's 1-1 draw against Porto in the Champions League.
Yet he was declared fit just hours before the kickoff in Cardiff.
It was another example of his Terry's recuperative powers. He also swiftly overcame a serious back problem earlier in the season.
Barely two hours after his horrific KO at the Millenium Stadium, Terry was back up and walking, apparently none the worse for wear and tear.
After a routine medical examination, he checked out of hospital and returned to the stadium help his team-mates celebrate their success.
Now he's even in line to start Saturday's Premiership clash away to Portsmouth (report, Page 55).
Cech, who himself spent three months out of action after fracturing his skull in a game against Reading last October, is nothing short of amazed and feels Terry should now be given his own title.
An emotional Cech said: 'I told John afterwards that if there is some trophy for 'Iron Man of the Year', I think it is him.
'After the injury in Porto, he came back and played. Now he is fine, he was laughing and okay. He is unbelievable.'
Terry himself said he didn't remember the incident.
'I remember walking out for the second half and nothing else until waking up in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
'I had the scan and they said it's okay...I'm still feeling a bit groggy, though.'
Terry is understood to have blacked out, swallowed his tongue and stopped breathing after the head-kick.
Bah.
All in a day's work for the Premiership's latest superhero.

btw all the above are from the The Newpaper dated 28 February 2007...
Congratulations to Chelsea for winning the Carling Cup… …
Drogba, did it again… scored a nice 2 goals, to crush Arsenal’s early head start of 1 goal… but too bad was the “fight” in the end… Although it was quite ugly at the last 8 minutes of the match but I think both teams (Arsenal and Chelsea) show us a good game…
To read more about a detailed Match Report can go Chelsea Website or visit Carling Cup
I couldn’t really see whether is it Mikel (Chelsea) or Toure (Arsenal) who went violent first, then it’s normal for others to protect the team mates but still quite scary to see Lammie and Fabregas (Arsenal) get angry hor…and the Arsenal captain (Emmanuel something, No.5) appears to be a sore loser when he kena the red card, but I also don’t know what happened, and Wayne Bridge (Chelsea) was also found on the field injured, seems like got stepped on bah…
John Terry really suay lor, that day played against Porta (Champions League), see him run then suddenly twisted his ankle… Continued in the Carling Cup yesterday against Arsenal then kena KO… Aiyo, he 犯太岁 lah, must write Mourinho an email to inform him, bring John Terry to go pray… Else sure a lot of mishaps…
There was one year where I fan tai sui then I think I fell down 3 times on the same day, hit the same knee, so now that knee very lousy and now bruise easily (on the same knee)… So just to be on the safe side, maybe I can write something like that: -
Dear Mr. Mourinho,
Firstly I would like to congratulate Chelsea FC for winning the Carling Cup against Arsenal, I’m proud of being a Chelsea fan.
I am concern about John Terry’s injuries, he has been getting lots of bad knocks recently and as an important element of Chelsea defence wall, I would suggest that you bring John Terry to pray to our Chinese Deity, Tai Sui (太岁)
It’s rather hard for me to explain over the email, but to briefly describe the situation is, as we, Chinese, believe in Zodiac Animals for every different year (12 years cycle) and this year, John Terry being born in Year 1980 belongs to the year of Monkey and he actually clashes with our Chinese Deity, Tai Sui and he will have accidents or incidents and it might turned serious.
Hence you might want to bring John Terry to Chinatown in London and see if there is anyone that might be able to help locate the suitable temple for some prayers and it will help John Terry to overcome his bad luck this year.
The above is just a suggestion, but nevertheless I would hope for Chelsea to win all Cup titles this year.
Best Regards,
Evonne Lee Singapore
Ps: Send my warmest regards to Frank Lampard, Thank you. I love Chelsea!!!
Do you think it will work?? Haha… I’m so happy that Chelsea win, and I predicted correctly the score, just that I did not bet… else can win some money…
Okok, I’m just bored, and now back at work after resting for 1 week… I just hope I’ll have a great week…
Went for birthday celebration yesterday for Edwin and Ivy... So fast, seems like just yesterday that I have met someone, before I realised, 1 year has gone le... Haha...

Our Hotel Room
Stayed at Indra Regent, and I did not know that it was actually a 4star Hotel... so by luck we got to stay in a good hotel again... LoL... and we stayed on the highest floor that's 17th floor... and alot of "ang mohs" actually stayed in the same hotel, guess it is a popular hotel after all, and it is quite near the Baiyoke Sky, so basically we are just located in the Pratunam Clothes Market area....
Haha, it's kinda of hard to blog on my purchases lor, so I won't talk about what I have bought there, but it's fun buying things without having to think about budget/s... LoL... I have bought whatever I wanted, shoes that I have been looking for in Singapore but found in Bangkok...
Eat alot of fast food, been taking Fried Chicken for 3 days, hence no more fast food till mid march, and it's time to start exercising after the CNY break.... And I saw a T-shirt that has this.... cute hor... Haha...
I really like their Thai Ice Tea (with Milk), it really taste like my favourite Teh-C, but Thais like their things sweet, hence it's very (and i mean VERY) sweet...

Basically, this is a trip for me to really relax and rest properly for the coming year... Looking forward to book our Taipei trip...
The film tells of a well-intentioned narcotics agent, Nick (Daniel Wu) deep undercover in the heart of Hong Kong's lucrative heroin trade. He is forced to deal with the hypocrisy and despair in a life of drugs and crime, as he plays protege to one of the key players of the game, "Banker" (Andy Lau). In the eight years he has been infiltrating the heroin industry, he finds himself corrupted by the easy money and his new found power. Unable to separate himself from his undercover persona, he immerses himself into his role as a drug trafficker.
In "Protege", with Daniel Wu playing Nick, these questions are explored. He acts as a narcotic agent who goes undercover in the heart of Hong Kong's greatest heroin trade, and has been following the leader of the ring, Kuan (Andy Lau), nicknamed Banker, for eight years, hoping to expose the ring's doings. Kuan, being a born-diabetic, decides to quit from the industry after kidney failure and thus, hands over his business to his well-trusted protege, Nick.
Nick meets single-mother, Jane (Zhang Jing Chu), who ironically, became a drug addict to prove to her drug-estranged husband (Louis Koo) that it is possible to quit drugs. She however ends up hooked, along with her daughter, and leaves her husband. Her brief affair with Nick gives her hope of a new life, and decides to quit drugs with his help. This, however, is brought to a halt when the estranged husband re-emerges in her life.
Being a drug-trafficker, Nick is brought into the dangerous situation of the heroin culture, where each and every decision brings a different consequence.
Director Derek Yee explores the true and factual situation in the whole process of drug-trafficking. Bringing in the characters, he has a complete picture of those in and affected by the heroin culture. With a drug dealer, a drug addict, the victim, the wife of the dealer and the trafficker, it brings a whole complete picture of the situation.
The plot looks into the complex relationships within the multi-layered, international drug manufacturing and distribution syndicates of today, stimulating the mindset and perspective of the audience about the issue.
Veteran actor Lau, acting in over 115 movies, plays well as the Banker. He portrays well the perspective of a drug dealer. At one point, when the character was faced with the situation of his protege feeling guilty distributing heroin, he expressed frustration (as a dealer), saying that he did not force the addicts to consume, but that they were the ones who wanted them; when there is a market, there is business, and he, as a dealer is just doing business. This provokes the thought that drug dealers, who know the damage of drugs to human bodies, actually feel no remorse doing what they do as they are just earning a living.
Wu is seen in this film with his improved Cantonese. His character as the narcotic undercover is convincing, showing the dilemma he faces, one being the guilt he feels towards drug takers, and also, the friendship he has with his mentor and family.
Yuen, makes an awesome appearance in the movie as Kuan's wife, who masks her knowledge of her husband's 'business' from the beginning. A mother of two, she shows the softness of a mother and wife, but has great mental strength towards her husband's career. Zhang, being an actress from China, has this weird spoken Cantonese that is normal to actors/actresses from China, but she certainly did a better job than Shu Qi when she first acted in Hong Kong movies. Playing a drug addict and a single mother, she conveys the situation when they get the urgent need for drugs, but at the same time, she is trying to give her young daughter what is best. Koo, after watching him in "Happy Birthday" is getting a new role in here, playing a cowardly drug addict.
Loneliness leads to drugs; but is loneliness scarier? Or are drugs scarier?-one tough question asked in the movie that haunts me. A suspenseful exploration into the darkest corners of the human experience.
After watching the Movie, I can only say it has been a long time since I'm willing to spend money to watch HK show, because of the fast release of VCDs... And the last HK show that I have watched (伤城) sort of disappoint me, because the plot so predictable... Even got Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tony Leung Chiu Wai also doesn't really make me feel the money is worth spending...
But 门徒 I guess is worth the money... Sad to learn that there are still around 200 million heroin users in the world...
吴彦祖 Daniel Wu's acting, don't need to say bah... Great acting...
古天乐 Louis Koo is my favourite actor, but why he look so shuai here, but in the movie he ... ... erm... UGLY like siao!!! Don't believe??
See... HELP!! So ugly, but nice acting... great role for him... always act those shuai shuai characters like waste his talent... Hehe...
This little gal's acting is good, and in the show she's real mature in her thinking for her age... I love the part where she hug Daniel Wu and refuse to let go... So CUTE!!!
Although today is already 初二 but I still can wish all a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
Hey, so fast another CNY has arrived... Time flies...Basically this year also went to Relatives' house to bai nian, then went out as usual... Seems like the same every year... This year went to watch movie... caught The Protege... Nice show, worth my money... Actually interested to watch Epic Movie, but heard that it's super lame and not funny, hence having second thoughts...maybe shall watch the other option, a show that my brother wanted to watch, Norbit...
Oh ya, going away for 3 days.. A place that I can go shopping like crazy... I'm going Bangkok... Hehe... well, can't go to Chatuchak, because I'm returning on Friday, so nevermind I can just shop at Pratunam Market, and get many clothes at Wholesale price... Just hope that the hotel I'm staying at is good... Anyone stayed at Indra Regent before let me know the condition... Hehe, pray hard that there are no unwelcome insects ... you know Mr. Xiao Qiang, is not welcome at all... LoL
I'm looking forward to this trip, then after which shall save up to go Taipei in May/June... If still can afford, year end maybe go Cambodia or somewhere "ang moh" like London / Paris or USA... LoL, provided I'm rich, maybe can strike the $10 million toto first... Haha, think it's always easier to day dream... hence I shall wake up and start working hard, I prefer the hard earned money method... then I'll be more able to appreciate my money... but it also means I've little money, because I spent them all on my entertainment; KTVs or leisure; Travellings...
Well, wish everyone would have a great break during this CNY holidays, and let's all HUAT together... LoL...
How important is it to celebrate Valentine's Day... I guess I really do not find it important... Not because I'm single now, but if you are really in love, everyday can also be Valentine's Day, best if I can get presents everyday... LoL
Flowers for me is not something that I would like to receive because I do not like flowers... Haha, if you really want me to accept the flowers, please give me tulips... Purple tulips are the only flowers that I find it beautiful... But most girls love flowers, and they will have the "proud" face when they are holding a big bouquet of roses on Valentine's Day, but don't they find it heavy or too expensive... I would rather my "He" give me presents than flowers, more lasting...
But so far, those who have "pursue" me in the past, never give me presents leh... Only call-ing me or ask me out for outings... But then how would I know they like me, when I'm just treating them as friends... LoL... Then they would start to presurize you into committing, that's the scary part (for me lah)... Because I like to take things slow, and pamper me more, then will have the In-Love feel mah... Well, most guys don't know that, for I like being at the phase of "暧昧"....that's 喜欢暧昧的关系
But then, that's all in the past lah... At the moment, seems like I'm going to 放开手中的回忆, 无奈的我了解我们写不出结局, 所以我要抛开这一切烦恼...
But nevertheless, I'll enjoy my Valentine's Day at work... Haha, because got deadline due to the Chinese New Year, and we will be closed for 1 whole week... That's starting work on 26 Feb 2007, after this break, think no more long holidays, till Good Friday bah, then got long weekend... But nevermind have to work hard for $$$...
that Wu Zun (Chun) has to cut his hair... No wonder, I never take a 2nd look at the Tokyo Juliet VCDs... LoL...
Well, when I get it back and after finishing watching the Hua Yang first, then I will watch the Tokyo Juliet, it's starring Wu Zun (Chun) and Lin Yi Chen...
See now so shuai-x
Recently I heard the song that Tank wrote for Lin Yi Chen, called Fei Ni Mo Shu, but I like Tank's version better...
Well, had Maternal Side CNY Reunion Dinner last Saturday... Went to Yan Palace again, because we have some "Connections" there... LoL, and we get to sing KTV there too...
This time around, almost the same, never get to eat alot of food, because was too busy Mic-hogging... LoL...
And Roderick actually sang.... Quite nice too, can rap well... He quite paiseh, I think cos first time singing in front of us... But he did a good job!!!
Oh, my brother also sang more songs than the last time... LoL... Hehe, I think he did a nice one for the Ju Hua Tai...
K lah, see pictures easier to blog... Hahahahaha... Just say I'm lazy!!!
Acting Cute Again!!!
They are not the Mic Hogs...
Seldom hear them sing... But they did that night!!!
Today I just realised my colleague is my neighbour's primary school classmate... And she also feels that he's a weirdo, and we both are agreeable on his "weird" behaviour...
With the 花樣少年少女 show and it's still currently airing in taiwan so the final 5 episodes is not out yet... and I have already watched the first 10 episodes for like 2 times already... and also very in love with the song by Tank - 专属天使, I keep repeating the song... LoL
OMG, and I accidently discovered Wu Zun in friendster... Haha, but wonder whether isit really him... Haha...
Today is Friday, and I have already inform my mom about Feb 10 but I must be home at Feb 11 afternoon, cos got spring cleaning to do... maybe need to take leave on Feb 16 to continue...but provided office got no urgent work... LoL
Oh, 2 of my friends getting cars le, so next time I think my transport (midnight cab fare) can save alot liao... Haha, but provided they are free to meet up more often cos they are now broke having to yang lao po le... Haha, meeting them tml for dinner, and shun bian CNY dinner with those who can meet up lor... but then must not go drinking, it's reserved for Feb 10 and Weijie's bdae at the end of the month... Hehe...
Today is going to be a busy day... deadline to meet again... TGIF
It’s weird when someone agree to do something, then later come back again, and does the old matter, then when you mention about the agreed matter, then the someone threaten to jump down a building…I guess when a person gets paranoid, weird scary words and sentences just leave their mouth without the brain filtering them…
It’s work related, hence if you want to know the true story, ask me in person… haha…
Okie, basically been busy working recently, lots of submissions to do, and a client is not appreciative of our efforts, hence keep pushing us to do things, finally his “important” submission is done, but still not satisfied, cos another party says due to our “late” information, he can’t proceed his submission, so conclusion, it’s our fault…
But whatever lah, work is like that, lots ppl playing taiji around, but luckily this new colleague is nice to work with, maybe because we are of the same age, can communicate better, and we work quite efficiently.
Oh, someone commented that I have lost some weight, haha, so does it mean my exercising does work and now eating lesser rice, home cooked food also getting healthier, we are eating normal white rice mixed with brown rice, and actually it taste ok, so maybe can try eating brown rice, it’s more filling…
Last sun, actually nearly never go jogging, because too engrossed in watching vcd and my cousin isn’t home, so suppose to go jogging alone, but hehe… so I went to try jog on our treadmill and okie lah, don’t really like cos it’s more tiring jogging on that… no fresh air, and will keep looking at the meter to see the distance I’ve completed…
So my final results is kind of lousy, 1.5km in 18 minutes… haha
I'm the type who sits inconspicuously in the back of the room at any gathering seldom approaching someone first. Luckily I'm loyal to my friends and share the pain with them when they are experiencing the blues and lastly I don't like to engage in arguments. That's one thing that would make me really upset..
Collecting HRC (Hard Rock Cafe) Tees from different countries, so far I have those S'pore, KL, Bangkok, HK, Beijing, Tokyo Ueno, Rome, Paris, London, Barcelona. Friends bought for me from Los Angeles, Nagoya and Sydney.
I would love to travel round the world if $$ is not a problem.. hehe.. So far only been to parts of Malaysia like Malacca (1999, 2010), Genting (1999, 2002, 2006, 2009), JB (1996, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009), Kuala Lumpur (1999, 2004, 2006, 2010)... South Korea (1999), Hong Kong (2002, 2005, 2007, 2008), Macau (2002, 2005), Bangkok (2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2011) Beijing (2004), Taipei (2007) Taiwan (2010), Tokyo (2008), Rome (2008), Naples (2008), Paris (2008, 2009), London (2008, 2009), Barcelona (2009), Hainan (2011)...
