What's Up on my Weekends....
Basically, these few weekends i met up with my poly friends... Went Movies, watched John Constantine, not a bad show the effects are nice, but sometimes you need to have abit of thinking then can fully comprehen the movie... Watched I Do I Do, Funny and lame ending show... Very local movie...
During the CNY, went to zj's house, his father (a chef) cooked dinner and invited relatives so she invited us... stay there from 7+ till 12+ then 8 of us went Sembawang Park play DaiDee... haha.. the loser had to eat 1/2 an orange, cos we have too many liao.. in one round, i lose till very jialat, can't throw any cards, so i ate 1 whole orange... while we were there playing, Police came along ask if we were gambling... haha... of course not lah, but till kena check.. give them our NRICs... think singapore police at night, basically nothing much to do... oops...
Learn how to play a new game last weekend, Chinese Checkers... the Star Shape Board Game... 6 of us started playing ard 12+am and ended at 4+am... But we only played 3games... haha.. somemore kena police spot check again, cos we were playing on the highest deck of a multi storey carpark... then someone complain lah, we din make noise also... but maybe they thought we are suspicious.. haha...
This weekend, duno going to do wat, seems like wanna go Sentosa, but i wanna go meet Dor, return her the winter clothes and buy HP leh... haha... dilemma... ¶ 23.2.05 2 comments

hey, i'm really angry with this PM liao... Really very rude wor...
Our company issue Invoice to his side, then got some calculations difference, but i did it according to what my Laoban Niang want le... Then tio shoot, tio scolding is me.....
Haiz, he said, it's suppose to be 30% of the Contract Value, NOT 30% of the Balance....
#$%^&!*#^$% , Dun forget Women do bear grudges... I will remember it for a long time... Next time he better dun ask anything from me... i sure won't help so fast... take my time...

Anger Management
Well, i seldom write about work, let's recap....
Our company have this project that is doing A&A work to a old condominium.. And have to deal with MCST Committee Members (7 person)... They are really a bunch of horrible ppl... In meetings always got many sides, for example, some would want a particular tree to be retained, some want it to be removed... But the actual fact is, if the tree is obstructing construction, have to chop off but we have to get approval from National Parks Board first... The decision lies with the Authority....
The Project Manager (PM) for this particular project also one kind... He expect alot of things immediately, then so rude at times... i remember once he called, he sounded so rude, " Christopher!" (wah, i dun owe him a living wor....) Once, he even said to my colleague, why your admin nv do her work... Wah, i tried faxing a document to a contractor for 2days, couldn't get him on his office tel and mobile... so i did the next possible thing, which is to post to him... (anyway i still gotto post it after faxing thru) Now the contractor keep saying Architect nv issue Letter... haiz, it becomes my fault... Lucky my colleague, my bosses all understand... or else sure kena scolding.... no choice this PM nv do admin work ba.... dunno wat is call SHEN BU YOU JI.. haha...
This morning (01-Feb-05), this lady lets call her R, "What time do you all closed for Lunch?" I replied, "1-2pm" She replied in a i-owe-her-a-living tone, "then why yesterday, no one in after 2pm... my despatch was there but nobody in!!" I just told her, we had a company lunch, then she oh!, then today will be back at 2pm right...
Excuse Me!! Do i have to account anything to her.... haiz.... some ppl really nv think, and she must have work longer than me, and knows more right... such a little thing also so rude.. i answer phone calls doesn't mean i can be bullied leh.... I'm usually quite obliging to help other consultants, but a few black sheeps really make my mood bad...
Sometimes telephone manners are important, you sound polite and cheerful, ppl on the other side will certainly help you... Always remember to smile even though ppl can't see, but your voice will also potray your smile.....
Moral of the story: BE POLITE even on the phone.....
