Worked OT yesterday… been working for around 13hours, although there is an 1 hour lunch break but it’s still mentally exhausting k…

When I finally finish and can go back it was 10+ and at this hour, I can guarantee there are no empty taxis at the CBD Area which physically turn into a GHOST town… Haha, don’t believe me, one day you try coming on Sunday in the afternoon, it’s looks just like a deserted town…

So I definitely have to call a taxi right, stood at the Taxi Stand calling taxi, first tried Comfort, the one with the most taxis should have taxis around the island right… I was on the line for 8mins and “press 1 to continue searching for taxi” 3 times I decided to give up… actually if I were to walk to Chinatown there will be plenty of taxis there, but now CNY festival so I think will have a lot of people so I decided to try another company… and btw the operator at Comfort was not so good, I said, “GB Building, Taxi Stand” but I heard her say JB Building as she repeated after me, so I told her again, GB Building… then still say ‘‘Germany’’ ‘‘Brunei’’ Building… then she asked at where, “Cecil Street” I replied…

So I heard the operator typing away on the keyboard, then she told me, “GB Building right?? At Cecil Street?” Oh my gosh, didn’t I just told her that…I still say Germany Brunei, my pronunciation surely not that horrible bah… so I just say, “YES... at the taxi stand…” so I continue waiting for the Taxi Num till 8mins later decided to give up…

Called TIBS next, and this time the operator was better, I told her GB Building at Cecil Street, she immediately asked, “Are you waiting at the Taxi Stand?” then asked me to wait for Taxi Number after my answer is positive… so fast and efficient right… but I have to continue with the searching of taxi for 2 times… before I said try the last time, then I got a taxi number and guess what, the taxi is already waiting at the taxi stand… so I boarded it, then the uncle also blur asked, “Yes?” so I said got booking right? That was when I realised why is the uncle blur, their network have not inform the driver that the previous booking already cancelled and was re-issue to me…

Then as we are travelling to my destination, that’s like 8mins after I have boarded the taxi, along AYE, his machine beeped, then I saw my pick up location on his machine… haha, that was FAST ya!!

I reach home, it was like going to be 11pm le… so laze around awhile… I was tired but not sleepy yet, so watch awhile of TV slept at 1230am…actually my boss say can come in late today but I think I should not, the other 2 continue working till even more late, I think might be midnight lor, so I came in same time and true, now time is going to 10am and they are not in yet… well Permission granted so nothing I can say…
