Hmmm, I haven been updating recently because...

1. I have been down with a bad throat that evolved into a bad cough, which I'm already recovering, that means no more phlegm...

2. I basically have not much time to use the PC at home, either because someone else is hogging it, or I'm watching television programs, usually from 9+ onwards...

3. I'm not getting proper rest at night... either because someone snored and wakie me, or my body alarm just somehow decided to do a "daylight saving mode" on me, and wakie me at 5am... so I have to toss and turn from 5am till 615am which was my actual waking up time... the 1+ hour of tossing and turning resulted in ME behaving like a zombie for specific hours during the day...

4. As I already had insufficient sleep, thought that I could get at least 45mins of sleep in the Bus Journey, but remember I'm having a bad cough, I go into coughing fits regularly at 15 minutes interval... I feel so bad that I might be annoying other passengers... Sorry people!! I tried my best to control my coughing fits!!

5. Because I'm coughing, I couldn't go for any gym sessions, and it is raining almost daily, I couldn't jog downstairs... I'm itching to do exercise, hopefully this weekend I'm well enough to go GYM!!!

Item 3 to 5 resulted in ME feeling very grouchy... I have been sleeping usually around 11pm+ and now tried 12+ but I still wakie at 5am... I can't wait for Saturday, where I can finally wakie at anytime that I want, but visiting Grandma, so most probably by noon have to be up and smiling le...

Haha, but I can predict Friday dinner with friends gonna end late... And maybe I still have a 2nd round with someone... So my Saturday, I think gonna be grouchy again... Maybe can take a nap at Rod's bed... LoL (Rod, can lend me your bed right... pretty please!!)

On another note, I have soccer to watch again, Chelsea first match of this season against Portsmouth is exciting and so different from their usual style, but against Wigan is BOR-RINGG again, because Wigan is playing "typical english football"... hopefully Sunday against Spurs will be the same as against Portsmouth...

And next Friday is KT and Joanna's wedding... Haha, yesterday I did a mini-fashion parade to Dajie... Must think of what to wear and to match... Finally bought a new pair of shoes, but I do not have shoes for the Dinner... Hmmm, another opportunity to do some shopping... LoL

And my poly friend Ah Liang is getting married 5 days after KT's... LoL, that means another BOMB...

Wah, can go buy 4D liao, so many numbers...

I worked as a crane operator earning $6000 to $7000 a month in order to raise my family; my parents, my wife and my children…

I have to purchase a car, as it is easier and faster for me to travel to different construction sites…

I often work long hours, spanning to at least 18hours thus I spent little time with my children; I decided to use money in exchange for time. They do not have to do holiday jobs, I bring them on long vacations every year end, they have sufficient pocket money excluding money needed for school...

But now many years later, I realized the kinship between us do not exist…

Few years ago, I met with a mishap at work and was seriously injured… I even lost my memory and have to depend on medicine to get fully recovered… But my children are not around to support me...

Now that my family on consists of my wife and I, I do not need to work so hard as before; I decided to drive taxi for a living…

I feel so depressed when I see other families having so much kinship. I easily tear when I talk or even think about my children not acknowledging us as parents.

Now, I just do not want to think too much. Live my life with my wife happily now as we did not have time to go dating during our younger days…

The above is a true story… narrated to me by the Taxi uncle (approx 60 years old bah) yesterday… I feel so sad for him, that I quietly slipped him an extra $2 from my fare…

It is not much lah, but I just want to do something for me…

There is always another side of story that I do not know lah, but nothing is stronger than kinship afterall... Hopefully uncle and aunty will be happy till the end... (^-^)

Hmmm, me and colleague is working side by side… As I was busy she helped me to answer a phone call, then I could overhear that she sounds concerned…

So she quickly passed the phone to me and then ask is it Boss’s son…

I said, “Hello”

He said, “ *mumbling* …. 快点来救我

I said, “HELLO!!”

He said, “ *mumbling* …. 啊 (sounds very fake)….快点来救我

I simply just press the red button on the cordless phone (i.e hang up the phone)… because he is not my Boss’s son, I can recognize his voice, he is only 10 years old, not 20 and above…

Then my colleague just that the guy on the phone said, 你是我妈妈就快点来救我。 他们要打死我。That’s where she got concerned and passed me the call…

After I hang up, I wondered if it is real hor, then jialat lah… but I read newspapers everyday since the incident on 07 August 2008, saw no reports of kidnapping leh…

So it should be a PHONE SCAM LAH!!! Anyway it was a Private Number…

The police in Singapore are advising the public to be very vigilant especially with their loved-ones because there is a new kidnap scam and it is just a phone call away.

On Friday, police said several victims were scammed over the telephone. A caller allegedly told the victims that one of their family members had been kidnapped and would be harmed if they didn't pay the ransom money.

They found out later that the reported kidnapping was not true. One family who was cheated paid $50,000.

The culprit has not been found yet.

Police urged the public to be alert at all times.

Finally the chance to see A*Mei singing live liao!! Been supporting her since the 听海 album… Although there is 1 album that I really do not like, because can feel the insincerity from the record company in making the album just because she is leaving the company…

I’m only to enjoy myself to the fullest on the concert day… most of her songs are my favourites… also wonder who will be her guest star, can’t be Jam Hsiao (Hsiao Jing Teng) because he is the guest star for F.I.R concert tomorrow 08 August 2008…

Hopefully he / she will be someone that I like and good… last time I watch the Jolin’s concert, the guest star is Huang Yida… and seriously that day his singing is lousy compared to his CD…

Have not been updating recently because blockage… nothing to write leh… anyway don’t think a lot of people read my blog lah… mostly should be people that I know finding out my happenings…

Had a fruitful night of dreaming yesterday, just that I cannot remember what was the dream about, but I remember the male lead in the dream is a long lost friend… Haha

Shall update when the mood is here again… oh by the way, we are going Rome – Paris – London in December 2008…

My eat grass days are here… hopefully don’t have to start eating tree barks…

from seeing all the airplanes timing, pricing etc...

now only left air tickets harder to confirm... We are thinking of taking Budget Air from Rome to Paris instead of the Overnight Train and from Paris to London instead of Eurostar...

but due to the period is boxing day (26 dec) so timing is harder to estimated, because alot of services are not operating on that day... Haiz, but wants to be in London on that day, because Chelsea got match on that day, couldn't be there earlier (i.e 25 Dec) because no flights / trains etc... unless we can try expensive plane like BA?? Hmmm, not a bad idea hor... maybe check out the pricing first...

hopefully by end of next month we can finalise everything... because most services only can booked 12 weeks in advance... hopefully in the end, we only will spend less than $3k for the air tickets, accommodation (excl expenses lah)
